Hanukkah is one of the most important Jewish holidays. The eight-day wintertime "festival of lights" is celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers, and fried foods. Hanukkah begins on the eve of Kislev 25 and continues for eight days. This year, the holiday runs from November 28-December 6. Our bakery offers Israeli favorite jelly-filled sufganiyot (doughnut). Happy Hanukkah!
